Experience Level: Intermediate - experience knitting garments in the round on circular needles necessary. Short rows experience also required as they will not be taught in class.
If you are inspired by the variety of patterns and beautiful colours in colourwork knitting but don’t know where to start, or if you have tried before and not been happy with the results, this is the perfect workshop for you. In this class you will knit a Celeste Sweater Junior by PetiteKnit and our experienced and award winning tutor will teach you how to read a stranded colourwork chart, different ways to hold the yarn, how to ensure the unused yarn is not carried too tightly, catching floats, and how to strand and weave in the yarn. You will also learn how to do the Italian cast on and Italian cast off, which give your garments a professional finish.
